A Chrome extension that locks your browser until you set a daily goal

Personal productivity tool I built for myself. Blocks everything until you commit to one goal each morning.

Every night at 4am, my browser locks itself. When I open Chrome the next morning, there's a full-screen overlay blocking everything — it won't go away until I type in my one goal for the day.

Set your focus goal for today

I built Force Focus because I wanted a forcing function for intentionality, something that makes me commit to what actually matters before I start reflexively opening tabs.

Once I commit to a goal, only whitelisted sites are accessible. Everything else shows a blocking screen reminding me what I'm supposed to be working on.

This site is blocked during focus time

The whitelist supports glob patterns — I can allow all of GitHub, all Google subdomains, any localhost port. Easy to add a site on the fly if I need it.
